Deidre & Jeff (and a non-related painful story)

Second post of the week….I am on a roll.

Right now I look like a beat up punching bag. A couple days ago I was playing baseball, and as I was playing shortstop, a ball was hit right at me. It must have been coming at the speed of sound, because I had no time to move out of the way and POP, right in the kisser. Swollen and now 3 stitches to the upper lip. Thank good I heal fast.

Deidre and Jeff are a great couple I met pretty recently. There wedding is actually coming up very soon, which I am thrilled to be a part of as well.

We spent an hour roaming Assiniboine Park to scope out where their ceremony is going to be held. Even though it was a cold windy night, Deidre and Jeff kept each other warm and we had a great time!

Lisa and Colin: At One With Nature

A lot of photographers around these parts have been talking about the weather lately: cold, windy, rainy, SNOWY. I’m not going to go into much about it because I’ve come to the astute realization that there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Oh well, time to move on, and make the best of what we have to work with!

The busy season and the likes is finally getting underway for me and I can’t wait to get it all in. This will be THE year for me developmentally. Time to take it all in stride.

Lisa and Colin are a great pair and I had a great time with them enjoying one of the milder evening at Oak Hammock Marsh. It had been a while since I had been there, and what a great location it was! If you don’t mind a little drive it’s a cool spot to shoot. Just watch out for the ticks…
